Community Involvement

"Education and Unity Builds a Strong Community"

M.A.C.A.D.E.M.Y. School of Science and Technology approaches businesses to become actively involved in the educational community. Career Week programs capitalize on the employers' need for qualified workers by drawing employers into the identification of skills necessary for employment in their industries -- thus establishing benchmarks for education and skill achievment. Most partnerships between schools and businesses focus on the delivery and development of academic and vocational skills (which include skills for employability). Such collaborative efforts can help students develop relevant skills for the work place through revised up-to-date curriculum, youth apprenticeships, and mentoring experiences.
