In this welcome we could attempt to paint a picture of MACADEMY that encompasses our curriculum embodied in a local but global consciousness, we could highlight our four principles of a solid education and the inclusion of Science, Technology, ELearing, Art and Music as a hallmark of our Institution. However, words no matter how carefully chosen, pictures, no matter how awesomely painted in the finest of color combination can never ever adequately portray the Academic strength, the beauty and the complexity of our Institution.
MACADEMY is a symbol of academic excellence in Brooklyn for over ten years. It has struggled through its formative years of tears and joys, fears and hopes to become an Institution that provides its students with a comprehensive learning environment that encourages academic excellence, ELearning, social competence, and a total commitment to Parents and Community.
We have Teachers who make MACADEMY truly special. We understand that the core of any great school must include the teaching faculty. Having a high standard, pursuing excellence, exhibiting concern for each student and maintaining the highest level of student engagement reflects the numerous goals that comprise our first class faculty. This first class faculty is supported by the Institution as I encourage and inspire my colleagues in their continued development as professional in the field of education. At MACADEMY we work diligently to fulfill this motto “The best teacher is one who makes you want to learn”.
Moral development is also a primary objective at MACADEMY. Students are exposed to the topics and techniques of decision making, conflict resolution and accountability. Students are taught to give their best because of our emphasis on good manners, diligence, respect, self discipline, integrity and compassion.
MACADEMY’s expectation is that each student will work hard along with his/her parents to achieve the highest goal and erase the greatest mistake which is to “give up”.
MACADEMY is certainly a unique Institution which is poised to embrace the challenges of the Twenty First Century. I invite you to read and learn more about MACADEMY. Please visit our location at 1313 Union Street, Brooklyn NY or call us at (718) 221-5566 for further information.

Children's Fountain of Wisdom
We, the Founders and Board of Directors of MACADEMY School of Science & Technology believe that the purpose of education is to prepare our students to become literate, independent, thoughtful, engaged and politically active citizens.
Our primary goal in the founding of MACADEMY is to provide a private, intimate setting where children are taught to be self confident, knowledgeable and critical consumers of ideas. From the earliest stage of schooling, we plan to expose our students to theoretical and practical ideas in the Sciences, Literature, History, Technology and the Arts, teaching them how to express themselves clearly and concisely on these ideas.
Another goal is to provide a creative and intellectual community where committed teachers implement a curriculum that is mind engaging, promoting and fostering intellectual mastery, individual excellence and Spiritual Awareness.
Our challenging curriculum and dynamic civic consciousness prepare our culturally diverse scholars for success in higher education and life.
MACADEMY School of Science and Technology admits qualified students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin, all socio-economic classes to all the privileges provided to students.
A third goal of MACADEMY, in conjunction with our parents, is to teach and reinforce time-honored personal traits such as: self-discipline, responsibility, courage, compassion, honesty, hard work, caring, perseverance, loyalty, fair play, faith and optimism.
"Preparing Children Today, To Be Global Leaders Tomorrow."
Building Blocks for Society
To create a learning environment, physical, psychological and spiritual in which students are able to master the skills necessary to think independently, to develop the tools needed to reflect and build on their life experiences, to strengthen their critical thinking and writing skills and to develop Green Consciousness for Environmental Awareness – are all keys to academic success.

Diversity At MACADEMY
"Instructors continue to teach about and celebrate similarities while simultaneously celebrating diversity. Imagine a classroom, where comparison doesn't matter as much because everyone's uniqueness is treasured and valued. Students are encouraged to learn about one another's traditions, cultures, and abilities."
Ashley Hamilton (Founder's Son)
