Our aim is to teach the whole child, academically, socially, and emotionally in an atmosphere that is stimulating and adaptive to their diverse needs, providing the “World Class” education and care that MACADEMY is known for.
3K & Pre-K For All
For 3 & 4 year olds
MACADEMY offers two free Pre-K programs through the NYC DOE: 3-K for 3-year-olds and Pre-K For All for 4-year-olds, available to residents within the five boroughs.
Home-like Setting
MACADEMY is a small, close-knit environment. Teachers focus not only on academics, but all domains in your child's development beyond socio-emotional development.
Child-centered
The interests of our students are incorporated into lessons. We build on their prior knowledge in order to cultivate new experiences and lessons.
Family Oriented
We engage families and strive to include our pre-kindergarten parents in decisions made for the child.
All hands on deck
Students will get to know all teachers and students in our pre-kindergaten programs. Pre-K students are already familiar with their new teachers for the year.

Search our school code
Once you've logged-in and added your child to your account, navigate to the School Directory. Select the year you are interested in: 3-K for children turning three in 2025 and Pre-K for children turning four in 2025. Search for us with our school code: KAWQ. Rank MACADEMY as your first choice for the best chance of placement. Offers are usually given from April through June. Children with siblings already enrolled at MACADEMY are given priority by MySchools.

Once you've been offered and accept the seat you will need to provide us with the file items listed in the pre-registration checklist to complete your registration.
